Supported Mobile Devices based on Camera Type

Reconstruct supports different 360 cameras and the supported mobile devices are dependent on the type of 360 camera used. This is because each camera manufacturer has specific requirements for their cameras. In the following, we outline which mobile devices are compatible with our supported 360 cameras through the Capture app.

Note that for non-supported cameras, users have to manually upload 360 videos through Data Manager for reality mapping purposes (see this article). For cameras that are not supported through the Capture app, please consult with camera manufacturers' website for compatibility.

Reconstruct’s Capture App supports a number of 360 cameras, and support for specific devices depends on the 360 camera being used.

Insta One X2

ONE X2 is compatible with iOS mobile devices with chips A11 or above and iOS version 10.0 or above:

iPhone SE 2
iPhone 8/ 8P
iPhone XR/ XS/Max X
iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max
iPhone 12/12 Pro/ 12 Pro Max iPhone 12 mini
iPad Air(2020)
iPad Pro and newer iPad models.

ONE X2 is compatible with Android mobile devices that meet the following capabilities, including:

Android devices with Kirin 980 and above chips, including Huawei Mate 20, P30 or newer models.
Android devices with Snapdragon 845 and above chips, including Samsung Galaxy S9, Xiaomi Mi 8 or newer models.
Android devices with Exynos 9810 and above chips, including Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, Note9 and newer models.

ONE X3 is compatible with A11 chips or above and iOS version 11.0 or above including:
