Project administrators in Reconstruct can add organizations (subcontractors or trades) to the project. Organizations are usually added to the project for two reasons (1) controlling access and permissions for 3rd party users, and (2) color coding BIM according to trades.
Adding Organizations
To add an organization, follow these instructions:
- Go to the user manager
- Scroll all the way down
- Click on "Add Organization" button
- Enter organization information
- If you want the organization to show up in the "Organization Breakdown Structure" (OBS) check the corresponding checkbox at the bottom.
- Click "Save"
Editing Organization
You can update the information stored in Reconstruct for each organization if necessary.
- Go to the user manager
- Scroll down until you find the desired organization (you can also use the Ctrl+F shortcut to search for it)
- Click on the "Edit Organization" icon next to the desired organization
- Edit the information as needed
- You can also use this method to check the box for OBS
- Click "Save"
Deleting Organizations
- Go to the user manager
- Scroll down until you find the desired organization (you can also use the Ctrl+F shortcut to search for it)
- Click on the "Edit Organization" icon next to the desired organization
- Click on "Delete"
