Project administrators in Reconstruct can add organizations (subcontractors or trades) to the project. Organizations are usually added to the project for two reasons (1) controlling access and permissions for 3rd party users, and (2) color coding BIM according to trades.
Adding Organizations
To add an organization, follow these instructions:
- Go to the user manager.
- Scroll all the way down and click on "Add Organization" button
- Enter the organization information. To show the organization in the "Organization Breakdown Structure" (OBS), check the corresponding checkbox at the bottom.
- Click "Save".
Editing Organization
You can update the information stored in Reconstruct for each organization if necessary.
- Go to the user manager.
- Click on the "Edit Organization" icon next to the desired organization.
- Edit the information as needed.
- Click "Save".
Deleting Organizations
- Go to the user manager.
- Find the desired organization.
- Click on the "Edit Organization" icon next to the desired organization.
- Click "Delete".
