Congratulations, you have been invited to a project in Reconstruct. If you are a project administrator and this is your first time using Reconstruct, check the information in the administrators getting started page.
How Does It Work?
Reconstruct combines several types of construction data in one very powerful interface that enables our users to access all information in one place. Setting up this integrated construction platform is done by uploading, linking, and aligning reality models, BIM models, and construction schedules.
You do not necessarily need all three components to start using Reconstruct. For example, you can start using Reconstruct as soon as you do your first drone flight, even if you don't yet have the models or schedule for your project. The same applies to the other two components, the following table shows you what you can do in Reconstruct if you only have one component.

If you have BIM and Schedule, you can upload them to Reconstruct and establish a link between them to create a 4D BIM model. These models show the three-dimensional geometry of BIM based on the time component from the schedule.
Uploading Data
Reconstruct supports uploading several types of data including (a) Reality Capture data: i.e., images, and external point clouds, (b) BIM models, (c) drawings, and (d) schedules. You can upload each of these types of data to Reconstruct using the Data Manager interface.
Images
Through the Data Manager interface, you can upload, select, sort, filter, group, search, delete, and process your images into point clouds. You can also set up a link with Sensera Systems cameras.
360 Videos
You can upload and process 360 videos into point clouds. If you use the Insta 360 One X camera, here's how to convert the videos to MP4 format before uploading them to Reconstruct.
Point Clouds
You can also upload, process, activate/deactivate, download, and delete internal and external point clouds. You can upload external point clouds as PLY, LAS, LAZ, or any of the supported formats.
BIM Models
In the BIM tab of the Data Manager, you can upload, activate/deactivate, and delete BIM models. Reconstruct supports more than 60 formats of BIM models.
Drawings
In the Drawings tab of the Data Manager, you can upload and export drawings. You can also change the drawing location. Reconstruct supports PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, and TIFF files.
Schedules
In the Schedules tab of the Data Manager, you can upload, activate/deactivate, and export schedules. You can also import schedules from P6 cloud. Reconstructs supports schedules created in P6 and MS Project. To learn more about supported schedule format, click here.
