PDF drawings can be uploaded to Reconstruct through the Data Manager. First you need to access the Data Manager for your project. Once you are in the Data Manager, you should click on the "Drawing" tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Once you are in the images tab, you can click on the "Upload Drawings" button on the top right-hand side of the screen, select the Drawing from your local hard drive, and click "Open". Reconstruct will split the uploaded drawings file into individual pages as shown in the below video:
After the splitting is complete, you can change the name and add a location to every new drawing as shown below. Locations allow you to filter drawings per location in the 2D viewer and enable you to perform location-based project tracking. You can add multiple locations per drawing, and you can also have drawings that are not associated with any location, but this is not recommended because only drawings associated with locations can be seen in the viewer. (Please check Change Drawing Location for more information on how to edit/handle locations in the Data Manager).
After you have added a location to all new drawings, you can select the drawings you want to upload to Reconstruct. In case you have a multi-page PDF file and you are not interested in using all the drawings in that file, you can pick and choose the drawings you want to upload. After completing the upload, the drawings will be available in the Data Manager for your review.
In the Data Manager, you can still add/modify/delete the location associated with every drawing as well as the drawings names.
