Upload and use PDF drawings of your project
Reconstruct now reads 2D drawings! Similar to how you manage your projects using 3D models and reality captures, now with the integration of 2D drawings, you have the ability to compare reality capture against your project’s PDF Drawings in a dedicated interface.
Manage your drawings by page using our automatic PDF splitter. See more on how to upload and getting started with your PDF drawings in our section Uploading Drawings
Assign Locations to your Drawings
Having many PDF drawings represents a challenge for document management when not using an adequate organization system. Location Breakdown Structures are extremely helpful when it comes to organizing your work and documents by project location, level, or area.
By creating and assigning locations to each PDF, control when and where your 2D drawings will display by assigning them to a location of your preference, or even using the same location that your drawings indicate, whether these are levels, areas, or any other location label.
To know more about how to create and assign locations to your uploaded drawings, see our section Change Drawing Location
Assign Locations to your Point clouds
Similar to how locations can be added to PDF Drawings, do it as well for your point clouds. Assigning your point cloud to a specific location adds an extra layer of control of what is being displayed and when. To see how locations can be assigned to your point clouds, see our section Adding Locations to Point Clouds
