Requirements
- For outdoor aerial imagery:
- Drone
- For indoor 360 video capture:
- 360 camera (please check 360 Cameras and Stabilizers for more details and recommendations)
Outdoor Construction
- Perform a drone capture as described in Getting Started with Drone Capture.
- Upload the images to Reconstruct as outlined in Uploading Images.
- Process the new point cloud by following Processing Point Clouds.
- Once the processing is done, activate the new point cloud as outlined in Activating and Deactivating Point Cloud. The active point cloud can now be seen in the viewer on its respective timeline date.
- If you want to change the point cloud date on the timeline, please check Changing Point Cloud Date.
- If the new point cloud was not processed with alignment to an existing point cloud and you want to manually align it to the BIM or to another point cloud, please check Alignment Process and Alignment Workflows.
Indoor Construction
- Perform a complete 360 capture of your indoor space or a capture of your location of interest by following the guidelines described in Getting Started with 360 Capture.
- Stitch the 360 videos on your local machine as described in Converting Insta 360 Videos to MP4 Format.
- Upload and process the MP4 videos as outlined in Uploading and Processing 360 Videos.
- Once the processing is done, activate the new point cloud as outlined in Activating and Deactivating Point Cloud. The active point cloud can now be seen in the viewer on its respective timeline date.
